1994 Ranger vs. 2013 Q7. Q7 took it a lot worse. I also got pushed into a Chevy Express. Front had no damage at all and the van had waves and creases along the back doors.
At least the Audi cleaned my badge off with its front end.

Whoa. Hope you are ok. Looks like the little Ranger took a hit like a champ.

Yeah, I'm fine.
Truck did good, even caught Audi pieces in the bed.

Don't count out the little guys! When an X5 hit my BRZ, the X5 got the worse end of the deal by far.

It fucked up the Audi more than the Audi fucked it, and it fucked up the Express more than the Express fucked it back. RANGER, TWO FOR TWO.

It's funny that with all the rage in the 90s to build cars "soft" with crumple zones that carried into the 2000s, that we're redesigning midsizes and compacts these days to resist impacts instead of just smoosh with them once again. Everything old is new again - the best way to survive an impact is to be strong enough to survive an impact? Who'da thunk it? Full frame old-school stuff is better for a lot of things than it's given credit.

Damn, Ranger seemed to take that quite well.
Good luck with Insurance. Multi-car accidents can be a real bitch. Here's hoping the Audi guy admits total fault and doesn't try to dick you two over.

Indeed. I'm a Ford salesman so I take a lot of pride in our vehicles.
Still glad it was the Ranger and not my FoST.

That Audi driver was just trying to maintain a proper Audi following distance. It's in the driver agreement upon purchasing.
